Responding to the urgency of an ad hoc report, initially created a Python version for quick generation. Recognizing the need for enhanced functionality, transitioned to Power BI to develop an upgraded report with increased interactivity. 

Implemented a slicer for Sales Year filtering and incorporated pie charts and bar charts to offer detailed information without requiring hover interactions. 

Introduced a drill-down function leading to a table matrix for a more in-depth view of the data. The Power BI version enhances usability and provides a comprehensive analysis of sales data.
